TThe winery is found in Carlino, on the friulian Riviera near Marano Lagunare. It was founded by Mr. Emiro, a man of great experience in wine matters, who handed on to his children Sergio and Clara his skills and a great care for quality. The vineyards are very neatly tended, the harvest is made by hand and advanced techniques are adopted to process the grapes.
The winery has a striking cellar below sea level, providing the ideal conditions for the wine to age in French oak barrels with constant humidity and temperature. The Bortolusso brothers aim at a close contact with their customers, and offer guided tours in their winery with tasting sessions of wines accompanied by typical food. Opening times: from Monday to Saturday from 8.30 to 12 am, from 2 to 6 am.
